How many among us have experienced or been a bystander to bullying, sexual harassment or discrimination in the workplace? These unacceptable behaviours have a negative impact on the work environment and can even constitute a breach of human rights. They create direct and indirect costs for any workplace including:
- high staff turnover and recruitment and training costs;
- low morale and motivation; and
- lost productivity.
This course takes up to two hours. You can expect to acquire a basic understanding of definitions and examples of bullying sexual harassment and discrimination and the contemporary management protocols. Through a combination of quizzes, case studies and mini lectures, you will acquire an understanding of the key principles for the prevention and management of these destructive behaviours.
At the conclusion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the differences between bullying, sexual harassment, and discrimination
- Learn how to respond appropriately if subjected to these unacceptable behaviours
- Consider how you can act when you are a bystander to unacceptable behaviour
- Apply practical steps in the prevention and management of these destructive behaviours

The course is self-paced and shall be completed within a six-week period from the date of purchase.
